I too am involved in racing. Racing has been apart of my life since birth. I believe the problem in racing is the cost. It doesn't help when promoters short change the racers. I also believe that the fan should be able to voice an opinion. Without the fans there wouldn't be any money to run for. Just a long time racer's opinion. Tim

If you ask about the purse, you're being negative? If you just ask for what you're owed, you're being negative? It seems recently that some negativity turned into something positive.

I am no longer involved in racing, but I did spend thousands of dollars on 2 of my grandsons racing quarter midgets.
Luckily for me, I never did have any disappointments over posted purses, etc. ('cause there ain't none )
We knew going in that was a money pit, but they did get a couple shelves full of dust collectors
