Depends on your views. Seven races in 9 nights and a Super Bowl charity event on one of the off nights. If you camp there is a frolic every night where drivers teams, fans etc all meet up, chat, drink eat.
2. do they sale general adm. tickets/? do we need res. seats at each place?
Yes 25 per person a show. As far as I know only Tri State sells reserved You must get to Kokomo and Gas City early if you want a good seat. Burg will have decent seats anytime but best to be near gate opening to get near top. Terre Haute you'll find good seats. I preffer the bleachers off of four. Bloomington you'll be able to find a bench seat about any time. Burg sells gen admin at the pit gate and also at another gate behind the grandstand so if there is a huge line at the main gate, try the others
3. what are the do's and dont's?
4. it looks like there are a couple times you might be able to stay in the same hotel for a couple nights..? maybe?
Definately for Lincoln Park and Terre Haute 35mi apart.
any insight will be much appreciated,
thanks in advance

I would make one correction to item 1, it is not a long week, it is a great week. If you are sprint car fan you will love it.
All the cars and drivers will run way past there limits just to make the A mains each night! It's a must see and even if there are any rainouts, which there usually is you would never regret the trip. If there is a rainout the tracks and USAC usually try to reschedule a race on one of the off nights.
You can buy reserved seats at Tri-State-Speedway,they are well worth the extra $3 but you might want to get them early since they usually sell out,and again you can carry in coolers with beer, food whatever you want just no glass.
well first off I have obviously asked the questions in the right place...!!!!
thank you all who have replied, the info and volume of it is great.. and exactly what I had hoped for...
I have been by terre haute during a trip to Eldora about 10 years ago.. (during the week)
other than that iv been by steve kinsers' shop in Bloomington, and been to ims.. what else would you guys (or gals) recommend??
