And those who didn't make the show still went home with a little money, they didn't take your last D---------------- dime and send you home gasmoneyless.

If usac only wants around 30 cars for there travelling show in the future where in the hell are they gonna get them from.I figure 2 cars from Stewart and Kahne camps maybe one from Kunz and I do not know if Hoffman would run that much if so one more lets see that is a total of 6 cars for a touring series not going to make it work that way people.Last weekend the truckers cars were at the mscs show as well as both walkers cars and I know benic has been at some of the mscs shows to as well as stanbrough. You would think that usac if wanting to grow would be a good strong core group in its home state before branching out they have nothing in good paying races in there home state and I will applaud mscs for stepping up to the plate here and taking the big lead on this one.Non-wing sprint cars are putting on some of the best racing there is to see right now and it is a potential gold mine for the right group to see it grow, but remember you have to take care of the drivers and car owners plus the fans otherwise you will have nothing.

You're wrong, Chuck. What six teams do you refer to? I want to check out their stats...
Why does Jon Stanbrough win more than anybody else?
Why does Tracy Hines end up in the NQ at Gas City?
Shane Cottle comes in this year with Tray House as his crew chief and is freaking tough.
Kasey Kahne Racing DID NOT WIN A SPRINT CAR RACE in 2007.
If you go to the track just hoping to make the heat races, you shouldn't be there.
Wake up! If the local guys whined and made as many excuses as you guys do, they'd never have a shot to knock off the USAC guys...

If you eliminate the "shouldn't be there" teams, you won't have enough cars to fill the show. There needs to be a complete revolution in the political process of how we race with what rules. Right now, the rules favor the teams spending 2 million dollars to win $2500. Does not make any sense at all. Can anybody name one USAC rule that has been implemented to DRASTICALLY reduce the cost of racing? Still thinking?????? Can the "shouldn't be there" teams afford a bunch of the new Fontana and Chevrolet motors that are provided for the two million dollar teams? This is just crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kevin and Craig are right. Joe Roush has been trying to get the same point across for several years. Why are racers paying to put on a show? You also have some local tracks that are adding more costs every year under the guise of "better for the show". If it is so much better for the show why aren't the owners or promoters paying for these improvements??? Membership fees at local tracks, transponder fees, radio fees, entry fees. Where does it end?? They are hosing us just as the oil companies, because they can get away with it. We, racers, let them. While I agree that something needs to be done, I also think it will be extremely difficult to get car owners and drivers to stick together. People criticise Paragon (unfairly); there is tuff competition there, every body gets to run a feature and you don't leave with less than $100.00, no politcal B.S. no B.S. fees. Just by a pit pass and go racing. Yes it would be great to have a Tony Stewart budget then none of this would be a big deal. Last time I looked there are many more people in my budget range than T.S. Racing is still fantastic, but the greed is out of control.
