Winged Sprint cars will make their 2nd appearance of 2014 to Clay County Speedway on Saturday night August 30th....back in May the winged warriors ran for the first time ever on the big 3/8 mile dirt high banks in Flora, IL.
Many drivers said that evening they could not wait to return to this track, the track, the lighting, the atmosphere just made for an exciting evening for both the racer and fans alike.
Gates open at 5 racing begins at 7:30.

Will this be a MOWA show like last time or an open deal? Farmington is dark Aug. 30th so that might draw a few more cars.

I hope they get some different push truck drivers for this. After they completely ran over the 46 car last weekend. Its one thing to maybe run over the right rear but to drive clear down the right side of the car? The guy even had tire marks on his helmet. I thought better of Kevin and his folks til this past Sat. Just my opinion.

If I didn't need to use my rain checks from The Clash, I would be there. I don't trust the weather enough to put off using them for too long.
