Just noticed that the MSCS show at Flora is scheduled on the same night as the Chuck Amati Classic at Paragon. LPS is running their midseason championship the same night as well. MSCS pays $2000 to win while the Chuck Amati pays $3000. Hate to see the conflict, as I had originally thought I would go to Flora, but as the Dodge commercial says "this changes every thing".

So many special shows, yet so few weekends to run them. That is also the Downey Memorial Race at Lawrenceburg. Every year there are conflicts that make all of us fans as well as drivers & crews make tough decisions. I guess that is what makes Indiana so special. We have CHOICES.

Each year when the schedules come out, I post the ones I want to see on a calendar. So many weekends it ends up with 2, 3 or even 4 races that I would like to attend. It helps some when the weather man doesn't cooperate and cancellations happen. Many times that is "who" makes the decision for us.

Look at it on the bright side Ron. If you weren't in Indiana but living is TN, AL, GA or most any other southern state, you would be upset that the hilljack promoters scheduled all of the big late model & mortified races on the same weekend. It might even cause you some concern since you might miss the goat milking or tabacco spitting contest at the local track as well.

Watch where you step on the way out. I'm outta here.

Kevin is making a real effort to get sprint cars established at Flora. I will be there supporting him and the MSCS.

Yes, mighty impressive what Bayer is doing. You'll find me at Clay County supporting that race track.

The wife and I are talking about doing the friday USAC show at LPS then maybe camping over night and hitting the saturday show, seeing as how i miss both midget week and sprint week this year due to work. But I am concerned with the car count on saturday as all divisions are also running on friday night, plus the previous mentioned races. So it is definitely something to think about.
