Thanks for the report. I wound up going home after the qualifying at IMS, and did not attend either LPS or LORP. I was tired after a long cold day, plus, more importantly, Earlene went to the MEC and discovered the lesions she at first thought was poison ivy is shingles. She is now on four different medications, and in a lot of discomfort.

Ron,

So sorry to hear about Earlene. Anyone who has every had shingles has said how much discomfort was associated with them. Please send Kelly & my regards along to her and we hope for a speedy recovery.

For those who haven't had shingles, there is now a vaccine. I'll bet your doctor will recommend it if you are over 50. Depending on your insurance company, it might cost a couple of hundred bucks, but we decided it was worth it. Here's some info. http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-c...e/FAQ-20057859 BTW, in case it's not clear, I am not a doctor.

I got the vaccine last year Dick. A very simple process that you can do at most CVS and Walgreen stores here in Indiana. A little pricey, but certainly not as painful as shingles.

Thanks, I know about it, but we didn't get it. I'm going to get the vaccine, and so is Earlene when she recovers.
