Just found some pretty cool t-shirts celebrating Paul's 57 years of racing on Chad Boespflug's online store.

I bought one of these yesterday at brownstown speedway, pretty cool shirt. They are 25 a piece with 5 bucks of each shirt going to Paul Hazen himself

Was going to buy one at the track yesterday but when I found out the track took a cut, I decided to just buy one online. Isn't it bad enought they have to pay to play on the track? Now they take the money that would be used to get em there?
Not bashing, Just think it's weird.

Know he's just trying to get the $$ together to make shows like the NWO. Eastern Storm and Some Sprintweek shows.

don't know why tracks like Brownstown have to charge drivers $100 to sell their shirts. There just isn't a lot of profit and you have to sell a lot of shirts to clear $100 bucks. At $25 a head to get in and $40 a head for pits you would think they should have enough without charging drivers to sell shirts. Drivers put on your show ! Venders add to the excitement and give fans additional things to do during down time. The Paul Hazen shirts are sharp with great color and lets Paul know you appreciate his efforts for 57 YEARS !

Is it the norm for tracks to do this? That seems pretty sketchy to be charging drivers to sell shirts. I will be ordering mine from Chad's website.

I agree. I didn't know tracks did that - maybe just this one does. Were the shirts sold out of the hauler, or were they in some booth in the main grandstands?

Can't wait to see what the "OMG, no more Steve Kinser" shirts will go for at Eldora next month - who wants to bet against 30 bucks? I won't be buying one - I'd rather buy a hundred of Mr. Hazen's shirts than one of those.

Not all tracks charge drivers for booth set up. The Burg and Kokomo , do NOT, to their credit.
