What would the "talking points" be?


"Already been tested better than new" is an old junk yard saying. Kinda of like "EASY CREDIT" all down and nothing later.

There are several things to look for in a used motor, I mentioned a few, start a thread and we can talk about it some, maybe we can get some experts to talk on the subject. Have you ever got a guarantee on one of your tested motors?? If so How Long?

Like ur thinking Dad! Worked 10 years as a top sales rep for a very large auto dealer in this state. I've heard just about every lie ever told! ....and not just from customers or managers. The dealer I worked for had a "120 point inspection".....I took one of the inspected cars out to show the mechanic all the things he marked as checked! First thing I did was pull the air filter out and toss it up on the platform by the managers office....(puff..dirt cloud)....thus explaining the sluggish throttle response! I worked on million $$$ equipment in the US Army! I just never told anyone! Lol.

I was at Knox at the Armor School when they were developing the super duper really oversize vacuum clearner also known as the A-1 Abrams, talk about dirty air filters. Guess they finally got it worked out without me. You never know when you buy a cycle motor it could be neat as a pin, but if it spent most of it's life on the rear wheel chances are it won't live too long in a race car. Since the supply of these motors is real down right now they are selling motors that they would have parted out in the past.

Some people may think I'm way way out in Left field but I just call them the way I see them and I've been seeing them much longer than most people.

I kinda of see the midget division based off of these new little auto engines, from stock "us low bucks racer" to "Stage 5 or so" with billet cranks, Ti rods, Ti Valves, Special heads and cams, putting out way north of 500HP.

Sounds like you should just jump into a 310 Sprint as it looks like that's what you're trying to turn the Lightning Sprint (Mini with a 1000cc) into.

I see no reason to change this class......or add yet one more class.

Great racing for about as cheap as you will find. Heck after the initial investment it's less expensive than go-kart racing!!

How long you been racing mini sprints? We started back in the early 90's. We have watched them ebb and tide several times. We should never get complacent and accept what was good enough in the past to be good enough for today.

We still love the sport and people involved with it. Did you ever try to push a Sprint Car that had it's front wheels turned to the right.? NO WAY!!!
