Well another year of no racing at Butler, didn't schedule an MTS race, maybe change their mind. Scheduled MTS same date as speedweeks in Ind & a big sprint car race at Eldora then say we don't draw a crowd. Had a lot of cars there & last time the pit was a mud bog, fun though. Butlers come a long ways, there were some complaints about getting done late. I heard that's gotten better anybody know for sure?

I've always enjoyed Butler. Only got to go once there last year for the last All-Star show. If I remember right they where done at about 12:30. I heard the same things about them getting done late many times, but never heard the reason. Still won't stop me from going back... enjoy going there too much.

I think what gets me the most about this schedule is that once they open the season and when they end it at their Three Day Spectacular (TBAs after that aside), they are racing EVERY Saturday Night. No offs here and there - EVERY Saturday Night.

And you can still bring in coolers..... and you can still bring in food...... and you can still bring in beer..... and they will have more mods on the undercard than anywhere else in up these ways..... and they are the only dirt track in Michigan running sprints weekly anymore.

I, too, would like to see MTS run there, and why they are not, who knows. Maybe when the MTS schedule comes out they will add a date at Butler, but I know right now, the Irwins have a little bit on their plate to deal with.

Whether I-96 is running sprints weekly, or periodically, THAT is good news! I heard they were kicking it around, and have yet to make an announcement on their track website, but thanks for letting this cat out of the bag.

AND..... they have switched to Fridays. This avoids all conflicts with Butler and likewise. Well played!

I am up at Butler just about every week. With that being sad more then not racing gets done later then 1230 on a good night! Sprints always run third in the program(rotate every other class each week). If they would get better equipment and keep the dang water truck off the track they would be done alot sooner! But they will not listen to us....

No schedule as of yet (but the year is still young). I did see they posted their 360 winged sprints rules on their website, though:
