Too many support classes = bad. Zero support classes = also bad. No time to run to the pits, B.S. with other IOW members. etc. Adding what is usually a half-way decent support class isn't going to stop me from going.

Jerry, I Agree, but Some People Want To ***** About Every Little Thing.they Would Rather Sit Between Races With Nothing At All On The Track.true Race Fans Don`t Mind A Support Class Or Two.no More Than That Won`t Hurt Anything

Well, I am going to Winchester Sunday, my favorite track. The sprints run first. I like that. I can then leave. Also, I don't have to put up with fendered stuff that helps to dry the track out so quickly. Why? It's paved. I like that too.

I'm glad I was able to amaze you.

P.S. Please quote me as to where I "bitched" about it.

I consider myself a true race fan. I enjoy watching all different types of racing. If it has wheels and goes fast I am hooked. I have seen some excellent racing in support classes. On the other hand I have also seen some very poor racing in support classes.

The ideal situation, in my opinion, is a maximum of two support classes with a time limit on each race or a feature only race for the support classes. It moves the program along while giving everyone the opportunity to get home at a decent hour. I don't need to see a marathon racing evening of 6 or 7 classes racing for 5 hours or more and still have to drive home 2 or 3 hours.

Guys to be honest...yes he was a little worried about the fan count with us not being a Sprint Car track. And just to ease the pain a little. Dont expect but maybe 10 crates..so it might take about 2 minutes out of the program. So if that is keeping you from coming to the show...I dont know what to tell you

I'm in the same boat as you are Stephen. I can't imagine staying home from a race I'd like to attend just because of ONE support division.

I was at L'burg a few years ago and overheard some crewmen for an unnamed sprint car racer complaining about the number of "taxi-cabs" (their term, not mine) in attendance. Fast forward to present and that driver is now racing, you guessed it, stock cars.

I hope the Brownstown race is a huge success.

A national series like USAC merits and deserves a good track surface, not one that is worn out by too many supports series.

As anyone check the THAT schedule for The MSCS show.

One class and there dose not to be room for too much down time.

Featrue to start at 8:45 PM. Anybody want to bet the USAC feature will start at 8:45PM at Brownstown.

As was stated before, one class, pit access. Three classes little or no pit access.

I've been looking forward to this race since it was announced. Adding crate late models to the card isn't keeping me away.
