How narrow can you make a sprint car? Mine is at the frame shop so I can't just measure to get the answer. If one were to put a LR on each side with no spacers, how wide would it be? 5 inch offset for the sake of discussion.
How wide would a trailer have to be to be able to put a sprint car on it? Putting narrower LR on both sides and putting the wheels in as far as possible would make it narrower. I'm just wondering how narrow.

Back in the day a lot of midgets used a Good-wood right rear to trailer their car's with. They are only about 3/4" wide. Makes car roll easy too.
Im only guessing....my car has two left rears on it right now, but i am at home and it is at the shop so I cannot measure. But as previously stated, you potentially could make it narrower than the front end, which is probably about 65 inches (outside to outside of wheels)

Mine measures 72" with 2 LR's & no spacers. My front measures 76" with a 53" axle, so I would guess that your front will decide how narrow a trailer you can get away with.
