I'd venture to say the PPV gang got to see more than us there in person.

WHAT A FREAKIN DUST BOWL, Couldn't see nothing from turn three to the flag stand most of the midget and sprint mains. Great racing, When you could see it.

The cars were not visible in 3 & 4 during the sprint feature on the PPV, either. The dust condition got somewhat better during the Silver Crown race but still pretty dusty on camera.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

Was pretty bad on the broadcast as well with the dust. Thought the broadcast was pretty good and way better than other online ones I have purchased though. Was almost TV quality.

For those of us who went to bed about the time the SC race was starting, it would be nice if someone would tell us about it. Even USACRacing.com doesn't have the results up 12 hours later!

Silver Crown race was similar to the sprint race at the end, Windom and Hines batteling and Hines collecting the wall in the same place and flipping. Windom goes on to win.

Charles, you are exactly right on the dust. Sitting up in grandstands it was the same thing, barely was able to make out the cars going through 3 and 4. I was wondering if the drivers were having trouble seeing in front of them? I thought this was the type of track we would have after the Outlaws but thought we would have a great track since it rained the night before, I went to the Ohio Sprintweek race and track was decent and not a to much dust. Maybe since they turned it into an asphalt track for the trucks and late models, they cant get it back to the way it was? Hate to sounds like another complainer, just very disappointed in the track conditions. This was the first year back after a 5 year absents because of the dust bowls, hope this is not the norm again. Great runs by DD and Windom! Felt bad for Hines and Coons, not the night they were looking for.

You will always have dust at Eldora. Plain and simple. If you dont like it support another dirt track. I am tired of Eldora always getting bashed for dust. I have known Tracy for 20 years and last night might be the first I have ever heard him pay compliment to track prep on a dirt track. The racing was bad fast, super sliders from the bottom to the fence and great racing.

Here are a few examples.

Midgets.
Bell threw at least 8 sliders on Abreu with Rico countering each one for the W

Sprints
Darland passed 37 cars in the B and A combined. 37! That alone was awesome since it was a BACKUP CAR with NO laps.

And Haud looked liked he been running non wings regularly!

Silver Crown

Windom and Bell had a good battle early. Ballou charged from last to 3rd chasing the leaders down before the drive line broke. And Westfall almost stole the show slow rolling the bottom.

If your going to Eldora, find the wind and put it at your back. That should help. I sat in 3 and saw all the excitement.

Never said a damn thing about the racing being bad. But you'll never get that whole 18000 in turn 3 grandstand which was apparently the only place that you could see the whole track in the features.. Oh and my seats were reserved which was another 4 dollars wasted

If they opened the end of the tin can and took down that wall in four and let the air pass through. It wouldn't bottle up there and make visibility a huge problem. Yeah, I know its a dirt track and that was still ridiculous. Wasn't a damn speck of dust at the 50 lapper last year and it was 95*

Very disappointed in the Dust Bowl, Whatever STIDA, we all have all opinions, but to me the dust was the worst I have seen at Eldora....
