It's real easy to spend somebody else's money, isn't it?

The payout is sad and antique. It is at all Indiana tracks. 18 years ago I won a regular show there that paid $1,200 in September 1995. I could live with $1,200 to win if it paid $300 to start.

They ever get their catch fence fixed?

Heard they fixed the fence and grated the track down on the outside of the turns, getting rid of the launch pads. Guess the wall is actually a wall now.

Was looking ahead to next weekend and wondering if this race was still a go.

This is the last time I saw sprint cars at North Vernon, T Mez on his way to winning the 2012 No Way Out 40. I hope the action is like that on Saturday. The joint has put on some great sprint car shows over the years.

Stopped by the track this afternoon and it looks pretty good. Hope mother nature co-operates and they have a good field of cars.
