Billy Pauch Jr (top) Jack Conover (middle) and Jay Hartman (bottom) go three wide in wingless 600 micro sprint action at the Action Track USA in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. This track under new ownership this year (Richie "Toby" Tobias & Doug Rose) is as close to Indiana as we have over here. Great racing every Wednesday night and the wingless 600's put on a great show. If anybody is considering coming east for the Eastern Storm next year, come out a day early and go to Kutztown (Grandview is Wednesday night's so Kutztown runs on Tuesday of USAC week). KT Jr and Bryan Clauson both ran a 600 here this year during the Storm.

The TMC car is way too modern to be anything other than a tribute...heck everything on it other than the wing mounts is current stuff so this can't even be a pic from a vintage meet...or can it???
Somebody who's actually been there can probably confirm, but I'm pretty sure that's the EMMR/William Grove Old Timer's meet at Latimore Valley. I agree the TMC #1 looks too up-to-date to be one of Sammy's real rides but he was running pretty cutting-edge stuff at the time. The Boop's Aluminum car looks like the real deal though...
