Scott Hull wins Feature at Butler Motor Speedway 8/24

(South Whitley, IN) – 2013 has proved to be a very difficult season for Scott Hull Racing. The red and white #48 *** chassis might as well have been #13, or so it seemed.
The first two races of the season the #48 car had driveline issues. One of those nights resulting in u-joint failure and fracturing his right ankle. That injury put Hull out for 3 weeks. Then his crew led by Ed Dempsey, Scott Kiern, Rodney Pratt and Tim Schilz, put the car back together for a non wing race at Gas City I69 Speedway. On the first lap of his heat race, a suspension problem lead to a flip, ruining Hull’s night very quickly.

This past weekend though Scott Hull’s luck would change. Hull got his first Feature win of the season at Butler Motor Speedway, Quincy, MI. After the finishing a solid 3rd place in his Heat, he redrew a pole position starting spot for the A-Main. At the green flag Hull would rocket away from the field and nobody would even get close to touching him.
After the race he said, “I knew my crew had put me into a great car. It is a relief to get that monkey off of our back and to score our first win of the season. Never had we had so many issues with a race car as we have this year. But we will be back next weekend to hopefully do this (win) again.”
