You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but.....Who did not run Smackdown that you wanted there? All the top drivers/teams in the Midwest were present. Look, Bloomington is and has been for years a Friday night track. Kokomo scheduled against them. LPS is and has been for years a Saturday night track. Kokomo, a Sunday night track, scheduled against them. Now who has the complaint? If you are having a show and want to call it a big show then it should be able to stand on it's own without suggesting other tracks shut down or not run their regular classes on their regular nights. Some of you sound like you want the federal government to run sprint car racing.. that's the way they operate.

If Im not mistaken LPS and Bloomington didnt run sprint cars last year against it and the car counts were as similar as they were this year at kokomo..I would love to see Kokomo get all the cars..but financially for the smaller teams it makes more sense to go to LPS or Bloomington..Kokomo had the best of the best there..and I was beyond happy with the competition all 3 nights. Hats off to Brady for having a really good weekend. Also AJ for getting 2nd..that kid is one to watch.

Sometimes it really does feel like its the north vs the south. But all they do is hurt each other. I do understand both sides but I think we should do what is best for the sport to grow, like we all wish it would. Not every place can be Knoxville or Eldora but it sure would be nice to have that 1/4 mile non-wing track. If we could have at least that 1main track then everyone would benefit and grow.

here it is for all non car owners, smaller teams means not alot of extra money to throw around go to smackdown pay just your entry fees car, driver, spouse,or ahelper for three nights. fuel for car, motel? eats, maybe a tire or two, THATS ALOT OF JACK to put out and then you dont recieve your money from USAC untill the next week ummmm wonder why it doesnt get supported. unless you own one then you just dont seem to get it its alot cheaper to just sit and watch. jmo

LBurg didn't run against it, Where's the Thanks LBurg for not running against Smackdown post?

Bull, The more the merrier. 28 at LPS. 32 Waynesfield. IDK Paragon. Fact is the same fifteen guys or so are going to win the big shows 90 percent of the time and its nice to know there are other choices where teams have a place to race and be competitive. That and probably a third of the sprint car teams have no business in a out for blood show. Not saying anyone is bad, but there is many teams not ready, underfunded and still have a lot to learn. Many of these teams may be a future hotshot and certainly if the big teams come to their track, They can be competitive.

This IMHO is a, Why can't everybody be at my show post.
