What to do with the oil cooler lines that go in to the radiator. That carry water to the cooler. Should I block them off or do I need them? Or is there a way to eliminate the stock cooler and use an ext cooler. This is a 08 600 gsxr

I also had an 08 GSXR on a PMP micro and that motor ran like a scalded dog. I would suggest keeping the stock cooler configuration. I killed my motor jumping out onto the track without properly warming the motor, pumped all my oil to the top and starved a rod bearing. That said I believe the engineer who designed that setup wanted to warm the oil a touch quicker while keeping oil temps in check on hotter runs. Keep it simple.

Good luck, Tom

Just don't hook up the water. OR I think the supply line to the oil cooler runs off the water pump 1/2" bung. then from the oil cooler feeds back into the top radiator hose. We make little "T's" for the water hoses.
