I sure am gonna miss watching Coleman run. Always a threat on the high side. Watching he and Clayton run the cushion at Pontoon Beach last October made my weekend. Best wishes in all you do CG.
Sad day but understand..I'll miss seeing iceman tear up the Cush at Kokomo! I'd like to get another shirt if you have anymore, just for memories..Pete if you have any plz pm me
Has to be one of the hardest decisions a father and son have ever made, considering all the factors that went into it.
I respect you for making such a hard decision, and sticking to it. I am certain it was not easy.
Here is a tribute to you and your family.
Glad I had the chance to meet the Gulick Clan and watch Coleman race silver crown and sprint cars. Wish you all the best in whatever lies ahead for all of you; most of all Coleman. Will miss seeing him behind the wheel of a race car. Maybe Coleman should turn his attention towards racing a supermodified at the Big O, I know he would be good at it. An it sure would be closer to home for all of you. Hope our paths cross again in the future.
Hi Pete, My brother told me about Coleman after he seen him run at Tuscon about three years ago, we've been fans ever since. I sat behind your family at Terre Haute a while back and watched one of Coleman's grandmothers, she would NOT open her eyes while Coleman was on the track, I would be the same if it was my grandson but it was funny anyway. I am glad he escaped unharmed. Best of luck
I don't know what to say except the positives.
I met good people (Except never met Coleman)
Seen damn good racing that at times rivaled the best of the best in the state.
Will retain mostly good memories.
As previously stated, I too am one of the many that will read this & though having never met, feel genuine remorse for the news. As the parent of a teenager myself, you have my upmost respect. It's not easy and the way you've conducted yourself is to be commended.
As for the Iceman, I will always be a fan. No matter what. BC might get the press for winning Smackdown but what I'll always remember is Coleman on a mission running the top. Worth the price of admission by himself.
Best wishes to the whole family. You're already missed.
