Slightly overcast storms are breaking up and the track is coming along nicely. Great day for some racing

Stevensville is a little more than an hour South of Lake Odessa on a latitude scale. No rain here, nor does it look like it right now.

I plan heading to Butler tonight for their weekly show. Butler is roughly the same latitude as Stevensville, or at least closer than Lake Odessa, so I have a vested interest in today's/tonight's weather.

I'll let you know if it starts raining. It is currently 11:15 a.m.

I just read 80% chance of thunderstorms developing this afternoon, lasting through the evening. Heavy showers at times. Total rainfall of 1 inch.
Doesn't sound like it's worth the trip up there...
I am bummed I wanted to go see a good race tonight!

I am a couple hours east of I-96. We have a Patriot Sprints Group race at South Buxton Raceway.

We usually have two sprint cars races a season, and for several years the first one of the season always seems to get rained out.

Tonight is the first one of the season....

But, one thing about the great lakes, is that they always seem to split up those storms.

Isn't this USAC show a makeup from a previous rainout?

Yeah that's funny. One time a guy I used to work with his wife called him and said Jack be careful they are calling for a tornado and he told her I will be fine because if they are predicting a tornado we are assured not to get one it's when they don't predict one you should worry.

Its 2 pm blue sky with a few white clouds. We had a small shower at 1pm--Just got the pavement wet for about 5 mins or so.

Not a drop or any dark clouds all day. Sunny and hot right now and I'm showing only 20% after 11pm

2:15 p.m. in Stevensville. Hot and muggy (you can cut it with a knife) but not a drop of rain all day. A tad overcast, but it just doesn't feel like it is going to rain (at least along the big lake coast).
