Erin Crocker's POWRi schedule is on National Speed Sport News today. It looks like a couple of the dates are a little off (Haubstadt on June 30 rather than June 29 and Lincoln IL on August 16-17 rather than Lincoln the 16th and Macon the 17th) but I expect that will be clarified. I think this is great news. It will be good to see Erin on our local dirt tracks in a midget.
WIX® Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, will sponsor Erin Crocker, the first woman to win a World of Outlaw feature event in 2004, in seven POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series races in 2013 as well as the 2014 Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals.
WIX will serve as the primary sponsor for Crocker’s #98 WIX Filters midget at POWRi races in Bloomington, Ind. (June 28), Haubstadt, Ind. (June 29), Belleville, Ill. (July 5 and July6), Lincoln, Ill. and Macon Ill. (Aug. 16 and Aug. 17) and Du Quoin, Ill. (Dec. 7). WIX will also serve as Crocker’s primary sponsor in the 2014 Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Okla. (Jan. 14-18, 2014).
Looks like the indoor race at DuQuoin will be December 7th from this release. The DuQuoin race is not on the POWRi calendar yet.
