Correct. Chuck Trickle is Chris' dad and Dicks brother. Chuck has a grandson named Chris who races in Vegas. Chuck is a short track legend in his own right in the Vegas area.

My lasting memory of Dick is when a reporter during a rain delay asked him "Dick do you think it'll ever stop rainin" Dick looked at him with a straight face and said "usually does"

When you're asked who were the biggest winners in short track racing, one of the first to be mentioned is Dick Trickle !

But what is remarkable is that most of those wins were earned the Hard Way, in a FORD !

The same question could be asked about a lot of the legends from back in the day, but I wonder how many of Dick's 1200 wins came at races with inverted formats?

1200 feature wins. Need I say more. He'll be greatly
missed!
