Anyone heard anything on if Clauson's ride with KV Racing has come together or something else coming up? Sure hope he is in the field as it definately increases interest in the race, at least in the circles I run in, which are made of dirt. Oh, and if somebody was smart they would have found Kyle Larson a ride, I'm sure he'd finish top 10 with as much practice time as they get for the 500.

R Miller was on WNDE 1260 Tuesday. He said the deal with KV is 50/50. It has been back and fourth as to whether it would be put together. That was as of Tuesday so it could have changed by now.

Would it hurt if the race fans, and fans of BC, contact KV Racing to brag on BC a little, promoting the idea of an Indiana driver in the great Indiana race? I hope not because i just did. You can go to KV Racing Technologies and find the contact information there, i sent mine to the PR representative but i think anyone on the list would be another boost in their selection of a driver for their 3rd car. Couldn't hurt to brag on our Indiana hero and HARF's 2012 Driver of the Year. Let's make this better then a 50/50 chance, jmho, bob.

I'd like to see Bobby Santos get a shot at Indy. I think he's the best pavement shoe in USAC.

rather than contacting KV it would do more good for everyone to go talk to as many corp managers and owners of businesses and raise money.gather up as much as you can then contact BC and KV. All it takes for a driver to get a ride is a big wallet. If you raised 3 mill you could be a driver but not as great as BC. It's a shame ,but the truth.

Id rather see Helberg or someone from must see. I think the winged pavement machines would be more comparable to indycar. The speeds are higher and they actually run pavement. It would be neat to see guys who run on the banks go back to Indy.

i can recal when it was fashionable to put the best drivers in the country in indy cars, then someone decided the cars might go faster if they looked like formula one cars, then someone decided they could make more money if their driver were to buy his (or her) ride, and when someonbe laTER DECIDED THAT A BREIF CASE FULL OF $$ WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH, THAT'S WHY THEY MAKE SUIT CASES HE ANNOUNCED WITH A GREEDY SMIRK on his face

I hear through the media, 1070 the fan, the problem is engines! Honda and Chevy are committed to only 17 car and drivers each. That is why the entry list is only at 33 with the addition of Buddy Lazier. Ed carpenter is likely to remove his
2nd car, #40, from contention. It was only an insurance entry for 33 cars. Good luck on bump day if this is true.

I hope that this improves. I am a huge fan of bump day drama. I love watching cars bump into the field, cars withdrawn, drivers jumping into new cars. When done right it is great TV.

Hopefully, BC (and others) can find something to make bump day exciting again.

Listened to an interview w/ Kurt Bush on 1260 yesterday. He did his rookie test in an Indy car for team Andretti yesterday. He did say this years 500 was unlikely but did hint at racing later this year. My low tolerance for NASCAR has never been about the abilities of its drivers so this news of a potential crossover excites me.
My preference is that BC get his 2nd start but I'd settle for brand new faces and lots of bump day drama. Like the year Penske struggled all month and waited til the last hour to rent a car from Rahal and still couldn't get one in the show.
