I too would love to see the times per lap per car for the Sprint Feature. You gotta be a member of lap counter to see that.

Is there anywhere I can find the Modified results? I've got a local friend that owns a car his grandson drives and I seen them heading out for there yesterday.

GREAT night at The 'Burg in spite of the rain delay. The racing.......yeah, that too, but even better was getting to see some old friends I hadn't seen for too long. Bob Gatten, is up from Florida to watch grandson Chad Boespflug in his new ride. Longtime friends Tyler Hewitt and his dad Jeff Alderson (still having motor gremlins in the #97) were back for a '13 first. Ed Cook shows up after missing since the USAC opener. Best of all was seeing Rick Lane, again ambulatory and back shooting, and especially, how GREAT was it see to Jason Soudrette roaming the pit area with wife and youngun'? Inspirational, to say the least. Exchanged overdue "howdies" with Ralphie "The Racer" Liguori, one of the most exciting drivers from back in the day. Joe Liguori, BTW, is looking smoother every time I get to see him run, which is infrequent. Joined in Section "A" ("8" ?) by Ed, Gregg, Danny Burton with daughter and grandsons, my boy Doug, and Z-Man for awhile......yeah, a real good night.

Frustrating night for sure! Had a driveline binding problem which caused the car to snap loose with no warning and got hit hard! Neck is sore, but we will be back with the car right and ready to stand on it!

Lap timing reports for the sprints and modifieds are now available at www.westholdtiming.com.
Fastest in the sprint feature was the King of the Midwest Sprints winner CJ Leary on lap 21 with a time of 14.145 seconds (95.440 mph). Leary also turned the fastest lap of the night on lap 4 of the first heat when he was trying to track down Joe Liguori. His time of 13.720 seconds was a whopping 98.396 mph. Congratulations CJ on a great run! A big thank you to Rudy, Brian and the entire track crew for their hard work and determination in getting the track back in shape after the rain shower. You guys are the best! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'd also like to give a shout out and thanks to the pure stock drivers who came out to help iron in the track. I wrote down their names on a Post-It but left it in the tower. Oops! But going from memory it was Matt Wheeler (39), Donnie Wilson (78), Dalton Baird (3D), Mark Ziepfel (21Z) and Chris Zaenkert (2Z). Wheeler was the first guy out to help and ended the night in Budweiser victory lane after a fantastic Impact Sports pure stock feature. |

OK I guess it might have something to do with antique computer but I can't get either link to show me anything even after shutting my pop up blocker off. Oh well its not that it really maters any way I'm sure I will see the owner tomorrow any way.
