Just found out the date for the bowling fundraiser is this SATURDAY, March 29, to benefit Chase Hemme. I had the date correct but the day wrong in my NSSN column of a couple of weeks ago. Sorry for the mixup. (Maybe when I get some experience at this gig I'll do better)

Chase is a 15-year-old who has been in a wheelchair since being struck by a car a few years ago. His father Harry (he was a friend of mine) recently died of cancer and the family needs some help to remodel the bathroom to provide Chase a wheelchair-accessible shower. So they put together the bowling outing, along with a raffle of various racing-related shirts and memorabilia.

If you're in the area, please stop by and support a young man who could use a break.

See you at 2 p.m. SATURDAY, March 29 at the Liberty Bowl, 1115 S. Liberty St. in Muncie.

Hi Danny, here is the info on where to send the shirt. If you send it today it will probably get there tomorrow, Friday at the latest. Chase is a pretty stocky kid, I'd say an XL for his size at least. Thanks for your help!
