If you are coming to Florida and have not been here in February, you might consider bringing more warm clothing than you would for the same temperatures in Indiana. I have only been as cold when the temperature was 53 twice, once at Southern New Mexico Speedway just west of Las Cruces and last Friday at Bubba's. One was a dry cold and one a damp one, so I can't explain it. Given the long range forecast, New Smyrna Beach could be really brisk and refreshing.

The last week in Florida has been refreshing. Even though the weather is iffy, it still beats Indy. Pants and long sleeve at night is sufficient. Expect fast times at New Smyrna. Pullin' for BC and K Hamilton. Hopefully weather cooperates.

Oh come on, 50's on Valentine's Day and 20's and snow today. Whats not to like about that.

Just think warm thoughts.

Years ago we ran Jacksonville in early February. It was -2 when we left Indiana. The night of the race the temp was 45 in Jax and I really think I felt warmer in the Hoosier state at -2 !

Looks like 70's and 80's next week with lows in 50's. The Outlaw fans would love to have that right now at Volusia.
