I was very entertained by this. Now I can say that I actually saw Jesus and he lives in Noblesville not Nazareth and works as a sprint car mechanic not a carpenter.......Bible reprint coming to a store near you.

Just curious, how does the Crew Chief of the Year work? Do teams get to nominate their Crew Chiefs or does Usac make the decision? Know a few guys who are beyond deserving on this title..!

Historically, the driver champion's crew chief gets the award.

No, Gene does not have a problem with it....having won a Championship before, my teams mechanic got the mechanic of the year award too....I was merely stating how it is at almost every organization.

I'd say it changes by the series because I won the All Star Mechanic of the Year in 09 and we finished 3rd in series points. I think WoO is similar to USAC's way of awarding but some years there is an exception.
