Here's the newest Tornado Chassis creation for S.C.O.R.E. slot car, 1/24 scale Grant King USAC midget. First I started with a sprint plus chassis, no need to shorten or lenghten this one, second start bending brass to make the roll cage, then the nerf bars and then the rear push bars(following the S.C.O.R.E. rules), third take the AMT Grant King sprint car kit and shorten the hood and side panels by about 1/2 inch, then sand and paint, forth get a Monogram sprint car kit for the tail tank and driver figure, mount and paint, fifth using Fred Cady decals for the numbers, stripes, USAC and Champion decals, then use doctordarryl for the Johnny Pawl hood decals, sixth spray clear coat and put everything together. So far on my test track things look good, I'll find out this Wednesday at Leesport to see how she does, wish me luck.

As always I hope you like what you see and comments are always welcome, enjoy!

Hey old style midgets and sprint get old decals. LOL! Besides I'm working on a Champ Dirt car and I plan on using new decals to make something "current". I'll keep you posted!
