I bought an engine on this site earlier this year it came with Kinsler injection (mech) and they sent an electric pump but you cant run an electric pump. Does anyone on here have a mech pump that would work or does anyone have any Alcohol carbs that will work on a 98 gsxr 1100. At this point it seems like im screwed and wasted my money unless i can find something. Please let me know if you have anything. i dont have the extra money to buy another engine. Thank you. Phil

I don't know if it will work on your application but I have a rebuilt mech fuel pump with the billet mount in excellent condition for a 92 gsxr1100. Also have the hilborn throttle body setup with it as well.

It mounts off the ignition side and replaces the ingnition cover with the bilet mount. I'd like to get $200 for the whole hilborn setup. We'll be atMontpelier on the 15th if you wanna see it or I can get some pics tonight after work.

On my yamaha it mounts off the waterpump drive, then we use an electric water pump, I've seen guys run them off the cam and other places, it just needs to turn atleast 1/2 of the engines rpms..

I have used a mechanical pump that mounts off the crank, to an adapter that reduces the pump speed to half the crank speed. Works great!!! I have used it for 6 years on a 2003 GSXR.
