We are rained out for tonight's Jim Hurtubise Classic. This race will be rescheduled for Friday October 12th.

Thank you,

I like that. A weekend USAC Sprint-Silver Crown Doubleheader @ The Terre Haute Action Track.

Being rained out sucks, but that's a good consolation.

Just a heads up for anyone staying over...that is the first weekend of the covered bridge festival...better book your motel room now.

I would Love the Jungle Park deal but that weekend of the Bridge Fest you will sit in traffic for hours in Parke,Vermillion,Vigo & Clay Countys and as far as staying in Terre Haute That weekend will be almost no rooms and if there are any left they will be Triple Price better hope to camp at the Vigo County Fairgrounds

This event used to always be held the same day as the USAC Four Crown Nationals. No conflict with that event, but the Covered Bridge Festival will create traffic issues, no doubt.

I am done posting on this forum. I do not want to promote a track. I have a full time job and have limited vacation time. I work evenings on week days. I was not saying a Friday race would be a bad thing and from my experience with the current promoters, they got it right (the races I have gotten there to see). I was merely saying that the weather is hard to say for sure what would happen, it didn't happen as it was predicted. I am sure many others enjoy a weekday show, I would if I didn't work.

My girlfriend was even going to go to her first race today if they would have raced.
Put your bid in to promote the track next year.....

1475 posts, and how many races do you go to?? Evenings on weekdays, that still leaves Saturday or Sunday night to go watch a race, and Putnamville is just up the road from Terre Haute a bit. How many times did you go there this year??

None of us here take you to seriously anyways. Every time there is a race you say that you are going to,you never seem to make it there, for any number of reasons.
