For everyone heading to Kokomo make sure you take the time to look at what Kokomo has to offer, from Thai (Jays) to Lord John Tacos (North and Main) to Italian (Martinos Washington and Morgan)) Pizza and other good food (Mulligans one of our sponsors Apperson just south of Markland)) Tenderloins (Neds Corner Pub, Rays Drive in) Coneys (B&K on E.Markland) To the best Cokes in town (Woody's another sponsor just south of the track on Phillips& North And on Dixon & Sycamore) or a host of other food places during the day of course you want to support the Speedway while at the track. The parks in and around Kokomo are second to none, someplace to go and relax before the races, take a walk around the downtown area and see how well it looks during the day or just give us a call and stop by our house for a little bit. Stop in the museum and see why we are "The City of First". Whatever you do please take the time to look around and enjoy what we sometimes take for granted. Need to ask about anything in Kokomo P.M. me and I will give you my number. As for local radio 92.5 for pop 100.5 for Country and my favorite 106.9 classic rock also 98.5 for a wide varity of rock and roll

Whatever you do, do not miss the tour of Kokomo Opalescent Glass Co. (http://www.kog.com/). I did the tour during Sprint Week, and recommend it to all. It is at 10 AM Tue-Fri.

I have got to round up the "Old Hillbilly from West Virginia" (Irvin King) and take him to Rural King while we are in Kokomo.

Well i don't think we will start up a softball game in Spencer's backyard so a visit shouldn't be to much harm!
If you do make the trip it's worth the 35 minute drive south to join us for breakfast at Lincoln Square in Westifield on Hwy 31 and 191st (ask pine) - they make everything from scratch and the chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy are better than you'll get from anywhere. Send us a message and I'll meet u there
