August 18, Plymouth Speedway's Bull Ring will be hosting the ASCS winged SOD sprints with special guest 2011 NASCAR champ Tony Stewart.
Included in the show will be the 600 winged minisprints and Hornets. If you haven't seen minisprints on the Bull Ring, you are missing an excellent show.
Plymouth has widened the front-stretch for this week's event!
This Saturday on the Bull Ring:
ASCS SOD sprints featuring Tony Stewart
600 winged minisprints
Hornets
Gates open at 2pm and it is first come first serve seating! Last event with Tony was a sell out, so get to the track early.
This is where I am going this Saturday Night if I feel good enough to make the long trip!
I hate to miss a show at LPS but I really need to be at Plymouth not because Smoke is racing that is a small bonus to why I am going.
The reason is to watch and help out my new buddy Eric Saunders who raced Motor cross and was in a wreck in 2010 and is now Paralyzed like me. I helped him with info on Hand Controls he is racing a 600 Wing MiniSprint car #349 this will be exciting!
I can't wait just as Eric and his family and friends are!
Looks like Mother Nature will play fair this weekend as the forecast is 76 degrees and only a 10 percent chance of rain. But if for some reason it would dampen our event....she for some reason likes to throw a damper in our dirt races.... The Rain Date is Sunday, August 19th same time same place.
Look forward to seeing everyone race day...Saturday!!!
Mother Nature DOES look good for the upcoming weekend. It is just too bad that the reschedule for this race is the same night as the All Stars at Butler Speedway. I realize there are only so many dates out there to choose from, but man...... It would have been nice to hit both.
I'm locked in for Butler Saturday Night. Good luck with the show, Plymouth! I hope it all goes well and you have a mega hit!
It's time to make your way over to the Bull Ring to watch tight racing action. Come see great winged sprint action along with 600 mini winged action on the 1/5 mile d-shaped oval.
