If you ran the sprints first,I'd be more inclined to come over. Like Mike,I have a 2 1/2 hr drive home, and I get up everyday for work between 4:30-5 am.

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news (to those that don't enjoy them). Modifieds have been added to the program for the Hewitt Classic. They are starting an hour earlier than normal. So that would put grandstands opening at 4, pits at 3 and hotlaps at 530. Payout for the mods hasn't been established yet. Check waynesfieldracewaypark.com or Facebook.com/waynesfieldracewaypark.

Glad for the earlier start. Did not hear tonight about adding the mods at WRP for the Hewitt. Four classes of cars will be a bonus for the back gate but could deter many new fans from the Hoosier state making their first trip to WRP. As the season winds down, I will be at WRP regardless of the car count!

It changed my mind. I'll be staying in Indiana that night.

I get to watch a lot of races,so missing one here or there is no big deal for me.

Certainly didn't make my day. Two more probably not going to make the call. Back gate promoting shows me that the promoter is taking the easy way out. I hope all of the locals enjoy watching four classes. Next move will be to run the sprint car feature last so you all can stay late and watch it all.

Here is the solution: run sprints, mods, and mini-sprints. Take the trucks off of the card. You would have 3 solid classes of cars and let's face it, who from Indiana is coming over to watch trucks??? No one.

With the mods being added, there is no telling how many cars that will bring. On july 3rd, they had around 45. I will likely go regardless.

I'm sorry they chased you away too. So this is what I'd like to do. I personally want you to join us. Jack is my hero and I'm glad to be a part of WRP. So if Mudpacker, or Andrew would still like to join us, your General Admission tickets are on me. Message me your name and I will have your tickets waiting at the booth. I don't make the order of events, but I would guess the sprints will run 2nd. Minis or trucks first. If the track is "groomed" before the feature, those classes will widen the groove a little and won't damage the track. Again, please reconsider. I hope tons of people come out and see a great race to honor a great racer.

Jeremy
