If it hits, it will be about two. Looks to be splitting toward north and south, just like yesterday. We got nothin,

thank you lawrenceburg speedway for honoring my request for a tacky well watered track! the track was awesome tonite! i was happy to see c j leary win one too, he's been fast n gettin faster all season/ and i agree with him 100% that lawrenceburg is the best track in indiana (i'd go one further and say its one of the best in the country) but no offense intended, i ain't liked the dusty dry slicks i'd been seein, lawrenceburg has always been tacky and well watered up till this year; so keep up the good work)

i'm certain there'd been more fans and more sprint cars there tonite too if it weren't for the nat'n weather forcast: i pulled it up on line for lawrenceburg at about 3:30 and it stated: "40% chance of rain at 4 pm; 50% chance at 5 pm ; 80% chance at 6 pm ; 100% chance at 7 pm and 100% chance at 8 pm"! We'll i was about to go out to hit some clubs and check out the local music scene feeling there'd be no racing tonite/ but then i turned on the 6 oclock news while woof'n a sandwich and saw there was absolutely nothing on the dopplar, so i jumped on old paint n beat feet for the track and rolled in just in time.

again thank you for the excellent track prep and keep up that good work!

From a fan who likes the local budget racing to the Big Time USAC no holds barred,

Thanks again for the BOSS series and Lburg regs for puting on a hell of a show. Thanks Rudy for not pulling the plug on a forecast and running it off. DONE AT 945 all classes! Woohoo!

Moffatt took the early lead and looked strong, Leary ran him down and kept pulling along side and sometimes taking the lead going in or through the middle but Moffatt using the cushion kept pulling back to the lead. This went on, Hound Dog style for laps 5-17 with Leary taking the lead right before the Red flag came out for a car that flipped. Westerfeld at times had runs where he was clearly faster than the leaders but traffic hung him up and he never could strike.

I believe Simon and Hupp were running sixth and seventh before the red but after the restart, They both dialed in and took off like Rockets from a Cannon. Disposing quickly of both Westerfeld and Moffat and finished Second and third in the final eight laps. Good show and close racing!

Modifieds were won by LBurg Vet but never winner on the new track till tonight. BROC BURTON! a big congrats to him over Fireball Dave Roberts and Scotty Kincaide.

Track was SUPER EXCELLENT although sometimes the entrances to the turns were interesting, I thought Steeler Fan Dustin Smith was going over on the first lap of the feature but his mastery of the wheel saved him and he ran strong all night.

See ya next weekend!
Chuck

Great track.....love the BOSS series...it's refreshing to watch a lot guys on a "budget" competing and having a chance to do well...just wish a few more cars and fans could've shown up to support The Burg and BOSS....it was an excellent race...

First trip to the burg awesome place it took some getting used to.I jammed my back pretty good when I hit that rough spot in three and was pretty sore the rest of the night.Even though I struggled all night I will definetly come back down now that I know what to expect. Thanks to the track crew for making the track better for the feature and getting all the races in before 945
