I was only at Put. once but i remember that little stand (photographer stand?) outside of turn 4. A car actually ended up out that far?
Yup and Shields hit one of those signs earlier

That's just crazy. I can't imagine a car getting that far off of the racing surface, even from the high side of turn 4 that is a long ways.

Ask Joe Roush just how far of the racing surface a car can get.

Fill me in on that one, not familiar with the story but would like to hear it. (Real comment, not being a wise guy.)

I think they are talking about the time Joe Flipped of of turn three and went into the woods and the car was hanging in a tree

The only thing I dnt get is Jarrett and beauchamp both were going to transfer I think Jarrett should've been counting cars in heat race but that's just my opinion race hard for the money like I seen Bradley starret say the heat races and hot laps dnt pay any cash

The race wasn't using a USAC format, they were racing for starting position in the feature. I know it sounds the same as a transfer spot but it is much different.

Winner of heat 1 is #1. Winner of Heat 2 is #2 and so on.

Hotlaps and heat races don't pay anything... But a good heat race finish improves your chance at winning.
