What a tremendous difference 8 months can make. After the one and only race (fiasco!:headbang) that the Action Track hosted last year under the DA administration. Then the news that the historic facility is back it certainly great news. Thanks to all the fairboard members for looking into the future and seeing great things for THAT.:applaud:

That is great news! What is ironic about the fiasco that was held last year is that it had one of the biggest crowds I had seen in years.

The only thing left for the track is to get the fans to come! I have waited just shy of a year for something to happen and now it has. The sale of the fairgrounds is not a dead issue but racing in '08 is a fact .... Get the word out and get the fans back to the Action Track. Just a side thought ... If someone would carry the proposal, How about declaring the Action Track a historic landmark? Then the money hungry developers CAN'T tear it down! :checkered:
