The start time will help LPS because it will put most of the main grand stands in the shade. I was there on thursday and at 6:30 the top 5 rows were in the shade. At 7:30 most of the stands were in the shade. It does have merit. As for the track conditions you never know how it will change through the night. It is dirt and the environment is always changing. LPS has had a good track over the last 8 weeks with no rain. The extra hour can only help keep moister in the track. If they last put water down a hour later than before. The hour later may help the drivers by having the long run (feature) later. My 2 cents

1 She would have a ride from the airport
2 You could go to the races
3 I could meet her lady lawyer friend and "cross examine" her !
