Phone ring was turned off. Besides, I was busy play flag man, pit crew, etc. for a three year old.

We aim to be there tonight. Save me a Bar-B-Q sandwich.

If you want that BBQ you will have to stop by the house, I'm not dumb enough to go to a race in this heat. Although I will say with the humidity so low it could be alot worse.

Yes, I don't see how they stand it! It is 101 here in Evansville right now, so I'm taking the night off.

My only question is : Why does USAC pay so much money to a group of guys who will go race for peanuts. Why pay 5K or 6K to win when they all go for 1200 to win. Now, i'm not a smart man, but if I can get a guy to paint my house on a Thursady for 1200, why would I pay him 5000 on Friday ???............HMMMMMMM.....makes you think USAC is overpaying and their drivers are telling them that by racing for less.

Orrr Usac doesn't pay enough or race enough to stay exclusive and make a living? If they paid purses and point fund like the WoO I don't think you would see this happen as much.. I know, double edged sword...

Go find Tim Clauson and ask him the same question. We had quite a discussion on this back before the season.
