These guys are competing in 29 races in 32 days traveling over 5000 miles. For some good payouts from 5gs to win up to 12gs to win with 20gs going to the point winner. Amazing to see what a good sanctioning can do with its drivers and payouts for them. Maybe usac should open there eyes alittle. With the average car count in the 30's. And grandstands full. Maybe they should see how to promote there series. JMO

A real nice facility. The National Speedway Directory shows it as a 3/8th mile but I thought it was something like a 7/16th. Either way it has high banked tight turns with longer straights.

Since Joe Spiker has taken control, it has been smooth and very racy. It would be well worth the trip in my opinion and I plan on being there.

It has bleacher seating as well as bring your own lawn chair and sit on the hill. Good food and cold drinks for a nominal price. You can also bring a cooler but no glass bottles or beer allowed to be carried in.

It has always been advertised as a 5/16 mile. But it's basically a 1/4 with slightly longer straights.

I knew it was something kind of different and 5/16th is what I have heard. I should have reailzed that it couldn't be a 7/16th.

Meh, they'll probably keep it a little dry so that it slicks off. Late Model guys tend to want that I think. I remember a couple of years ago, they wet the track up real good and a big cushion kicked up. All of the LM guys started griping after their heats about it and they cut down the curb a bunch before the B's. I, like you, hope it's wet and tacky as crap. But, I doubt we're gonna get that.
