Not to get in a "spitting" contest or anything, if you look closely at Herrera, he is most certainly a bit sideways. I, too, prefer sprint cars as opposed to winged sprint cars, but there has only been one event in the Houston area in the past 24 years, and that was two years ago. I shoot what I can. I should have some current sprint car shots in a little over a week. . . .
Hi there! I just wanted to mention that non wing sprint car racing has plenty of fans in Canada. At it's inaugural race last year the Ontario Topless Sprints packed the grandstands. We're pretty sure we'll do the same this year too. We've just got two races in Ontario this year but on July 21 at South Buxton Raceway the OTS, MTS and BOSS series will be coming together to put on the first international tri-sanctioned non wing event in Canada, (as far as we know). We're sure this show will be a great success as long as it doesn't rain. If you're a fan or a competitor please come out to the OTS races and help us grow non wing sprint car racing in the Great White North.
Also, I love the "Picture of the Day", every day. It's like a good cup of coffee to get the day started, please keep it comin'. Ken Bayliss, OTS.
