they had 4 cars last night according to the videos on Jackslash.com Larson, Shuman, Leary and one other one. According to one of the vids they paid 400 - 300- 200 - 200. I can't understand why only 4 cars last night, not sure how much info was put out about running sunday when sat, got rained out, but I would have thought the guys that showed up on saturday would have known about the rain date.

It was announced at the drivers meet so everyone was aware, and again it's their standing order to run on Sundays after a rain out. So everyone knows. But after the drivers meeting broke up, a severe monsoon hit, the same one that hit Busch stadium in St.Louis and claimed a life. I can't speak for everyone but after trying to load up during that mess, I wasn't too keen on heading back on Sun. with every radar in the land showing a 50% chance. According to weatherbug.com Kokomo had a better forecast and they cancelled.

It was raining at our house when it was time to leave. So we made the call not to go back. We live in Edwardsville,IL 30 mins.north east of St.Louis.
3 or 4 of the other drivers that were there on Saturday night are at least another hour north. Which I would guess mother nature helped them decide also.

That's a big issue...their pit area is mainly dirt right now with very little grass, rock or pavement, so when it rains, it is a bear to get loaded and get outta there..and it's tough to race only 24 hours later for all involved, including the drivers and teams, track crew, and fans...fuel costs, travel time, and the forecast I'm sure played a big part in the low car count.

However, it is good to know, if you wanna race one day after a Saturday rain out, there is a track running.....kuddos to Kevin and the track crew for the effort! Sorry we couldn't make it this weekend..
