I know mother nature can be a real pain in the butt when a summer event gets rained out but i need to give some credit where credit is due here. Decent temps here again today, mid to upper 30's maybe even 40. Who would have thought that my kids would be riding their bicycles on Jan. 27th?

Just another day without shoveling snow my friend. So long as we don't have snow in April & May. The groundhog will tell us all.

Haven't needed the blower yet, the shovel was good enough. Parts of the lawn are showing and the wife said the sump pump was running this morning so it's melting. This winter is really hard to believe so far. Almost makes you wonder if we will get dumped on in April or even May?

Well Tim I thought central N. Y. was having a mild winter, that all changed on Monday for the small town of Fulton 11 miles south of Oswego. Several of my friends posted they got 2 to 3 feet of snow before 10 A. M., my brother only got 7 inches in Oswego. Then Tuesday there temps were back in the 40 degree range.

Like Mike I wonder what April and May are going to be like in the Mid-West and East, more than worrying about rain and snow, I can't help but wonder what tornado season is going to be like. There have already been a high number of tornadoes in Jan..

Everyone in enjoy your warm temps!

Patti

You know Wisconsin is having a mild winter when you see people riding motorcycles to today's snow cross snowmobile races here in town.

Rode up there to check it out, then headed to Winabago for some ice riding. Not to often you can ride one dirt bike to the lake(30miles), then hop on a dirt bike with ice tires and tare around on the lake. Tomorrow I'll haul my own ice bike out there, gonna be a nice day again.
