Cavalcade of Customs is displaying 100 years of openwheel racing called Sprint car legends Jan 13th-15th

Joshua Shaw and the boys form Zakiras Garage have restored and found a few very nice early rides that will be on display as well as other Sprinters, Champs, Midgets, and 1/4 Midgets.

a few of the cars in the display will be:
late 10's early 20's- Fronty Sprint car- owned by Zakiras Garage
30's Flathead powered Shaw special
#10 Helligas
#23 Hart Jones Sprinter
70's Nance Sprinter
late 70's-early 80's Root Brothers Sprinter
2011-12 #44 J.S.R/Goodsleeve 410 Sprint Car

and The Johnny Night Offy powered midget!!!!

just to name a few.

Just thought id share the info if anyone is gonna be close that weekend and wants to check it out.

there are alot of trailer queens at C.O.C. but Surviors Alley has 70-80 traditional hot rods and racers. as well as Drag City with a bunch of F.E.D.'s..

and theres is a pin up show on saturday!

Ill have the Goodsleeve booth down there as well..tell me your an IOW'er and ill open up the cooler so we can have a cold one or two.

All the cars are loaded in, and man is there some history in that line. The cars are Beautiful. If you are in the area this weekend definitely stop down and check out the display.
