Who exactly is in charge next year?

They added another date right before Sprint week for the Summernationals, didnt know if someone was promoting every race separate, or if USAC was running the shows on their dates.

I don't believe that's available for public consumption yet.

Heard Bob Sargent put in a proposal, but that is the last I heard. Would like to know also.

Someone by the last name of O'Conner is doing track prep, and that's good enough for me. I know I don't need to worry about the promoter if he's doing track prep.

I told myself I'm not gonna get another grey hair worrying about that question. It appears they are gonna race there and that's good enough for me. I do hope they stay with the no support class format at the USAC sprint shows.

Ok, I'll do it! I'll bring back the old dirt, get rid of the concrete wall and put up guard rail and paint it red, white, and blue. I'll bring back the Hut 100 and have 3 USAC sprint races, an MSCS race and the Sumar 100. I'll have a flat track bike race, a WoO race and a Modified and a Latemodel special. At the big races we'll line up the cars on the front stretch for introductions with an announcer who knows how to make it sound interesting. The track surface will be tacky, rough, dry slick, and smooth all in one. I'll advertise the hell out of it and pay big money and no one will complain. I just need one small favor from someone....100% financial backing!

Seriously though...now that I think about it, that sounds a lot like the Don Smith era. Wish he would come out of promoter retirement.

Just curious if all the fans and competitors got their money back from the Champ Car Dust Bowl last year?

It was very simple. You could trade in your ticket for the sprint week show or send it back for a refund. I have heard of no one who had any issues what so ever. Did you have a problem getting money back?

Plus, everybody with a Sumar ticket could go to the stand next to the ticket booth and get a free 2011 Sprint Week t-shirt.
