i just heard on my local T.V station that indy car may be returning to the milwaukee mile in 2012. they guessed june 16th weekend. i hope the midgets and silver crown cars follows.

A couple of problems with that date. Road America has the June Sprints that weekend and the following weekend is NA$CAR at RA. Both events draw huge crowds. Also that's Father Days weekend.

As of today, the Mile has no promotor.

IN Midget Week is going on that weekend so I don't see a USAC return if it's that weekend. Last year's Midget Week was moved up a week so they could run the Mile.

RB said in the Indy Star that's it's 50/50. That's good because it was 0% right after last year's race.
