I did not go to the races, but I remember people on this board saying that the track was too big for the amount of cars that they had. The last year that they had the race, they only started 19 cars in the A-main.

They also had a fatality on the prelim night. Chad McDaniel lost his life in a midget wreck at Knowville.

Sad to see lasalle not back on the schedule but when you only draw 16 cars you can't be too suprised.

I wonder if the Pepsi Nationals will be just a Badger show or is it maybe even on the scrap heep?

Is the "D1" sched out yet???

Maybe the Pesi Nationals will have a rain date now without USAC. Wasn't that the reason they moved it to Saturday in the first place so they could have 2 rain dates (SUN. & Mon.). I hope they can get a co-sanction with Poweri for that once prestigious midget event.

Or maybe not a D1 schedule out??? Nothing yet...
