How awesome would Belleville, KS be? Might even be possible in conjunction with the midget nationals?

I love the champ cars on the dirt mile. Its my dream to run one someday. I just hope they dont die off before I get that chance...

As far as this year I think the schedule is decent. Would like to see more than 9 shows but I mean its hard to have too many shows and not take a huge risk. So I see both sides. Ideally I think you look at 7-8 races on dirt and 7-8 on pavement. I am a firm believer that the crown cars should not be on less the a 1/2 mile dirt or pavement. If you want a show on a track smaller go watch midgets or sprints JMO

My thoughts:

Dirt:
Springfield Mile
Du Quoin Mile
Indy Mile
Eldora
THAT
Belleville Highbanks
Another Dirt Mile (Syracuse?)
Another 1/2 mile --> Hartford, MI, Davenport,IA?, Knoxville

Pavement:
Toledo
IRP
Irwindale
Iowa
Phoenix International
Milwaukee
Bristol
Salem

I think this schedule would be pretty fun to watch....but either way keep the dirt miles and try to get the race count up to around 15 JMO

I was at the same show at USA. It was a great race on the half mile.
The feature was ran on a Sunday afternoon because of rain the night before. For those that say it can't be done on a daytime surface, I point to that race held in the desert to say yes it can.

Incite your heart to see beyond the view.

Have no fear, it's a good one.

PERSONALLY I'd like to seem them at Hartford, some call it a half mile but it measures out to 5/8ths. I don't think Hartford will ever draw enough people to make it worth while, I'm steeped in s"tin top" country up here.

Bristol and Iowa would be stellar and could be paired with other events to minimize the risk maybe even show some folks what "real racing" is all about.

I couldn't agree more about Hartford. The first time I went there about 9 years ago I knew that track had a lot of potential to be an awesome facility and race track. They've had everything from WoO Late Models & Sprints - USAC Sprints - AMA and all points in between.
