35 race nights which is pretty good considering my home track had to close the doors the first of July due to flooding. Thankfully, it is scheduled to re-open in 2012. 5 new tracks this year inculding Indy Motor Speedway, Indy State Fairground, ORP, Kokomo and Lake Ozark Speedway. This brings my total to 73 tracks in 14 states. Highlights include my first trip to the Indy 500, the Gold Crown Midget weekend, and a regular show at Ventura Speedway. I love watching the races in front of me and watching the waves hit the beach behind me.

Even thought Chuck said it was a ton

, we were down this year, mostly due to Mother Nature. Certainly pales in comparison to DRTCHSR but we still enjoyed the 2011 season.

Hoping to hit 3 more before the ball drops on 2011.
Like to say thanks to Chuck for the other thread. Easy to keep track of when and where.
Only hit 76 races at 30 tracks in 5 states with 16 different sanctioning bodies this year. I guess not bad for still having to work for a living.

Here are the tracks.

It would be neat to see some drivers weigh in on what tracks they competed on this year, just a thought.
For those about to rock, we salute you.
