This is indeed great news for Midget racing in the midwest. With the apparent scheduling of the Hut 100 on Oct 5 at Terre Haute, and no other obvious conflicting dates with other associations on the 9th-11th, what potential this show has.
Really appreciate the Gundakers and the POWRi gang for putting this together.

Not to mention the fact if you have the wrong patches on your driving suit, the penalties can be much more than if you have the right patches.

I'm thinking that the fall show was non sanctioned sprints and powri midgets...

It was pretty sweet and I thought the track was in great shape

I heard the track for the race in Oct. was better than in June but it went away come sprint feature time. The track back in June just slowly but surely wore away from hot laps on. But again I will be there for this race.

I guess Tom Helfrich has spoiled me somewhat.

I was there in October and yes the track went away for the A main in the sprint cars. It was my first time there and I was VERY impressed with the track and the attendance.

I really hope this event takes off.

The POWRi org gets two thumbs up for their promotion and sanctioning of midget races.

Regardless of family members of officials running with POWRi, I've never seen any favoritism... I've seen other sanctioning bodies screw up a lot worse/more often than POWRi has, and I've seen fair treatment. Can you explain how they're run similar to Quarters?

You also made a false statement about the "cars featured in the photo list from every event"...I did look at the site and the only place I see a Knepper, Brown, or Siner car ANYWHERE on the main page or set as a link to a photo gallery is a picture of Steve Knepper from last years DuQuoin Indoors... Believe it or not, the photo gallery links are a picture of the car/driver who won the event... and Steve won that particular race...:headbang:
