For as long as I can remember these late season "specials" have always been called promoter benefit races. Don't know why they would change it up now.

You started this one Brent. I don't hold anything against you. I know you have fun at this, just like I do. Everyone is entitiled to their opinion and just because you don't agree with mine, there is no need to call me out by name. Maybe you should start calling out everyone that said they agreed with me on other posts!

Casey, It looks like they put the money on the top (very similiar as in 2010) and then increased the bottom half.

As a racer, If I look at the sprint car payout by itself, I can see where some would question the difference, but if I look at the entire nightly payout, it actually looked pretty decent. I think Kokomo tried to make this a special event for all classes not just one. They probably tried balancing the payouts between classes. Of course, that's just a guess.

Usually just sit on the sidelines and read but after the past week I have to ask the toronado a question. Why the problem with everyting Kokomo related? It seems you would be happy with your home track adding Sunday night sprints to the schedule to compete with Kokomo's schedule. But that doesn't seem to be good enough, you just have to pile on anything Kokomo speedway does. You were not there this weekend so why should this thread concern you. Kokomo will race next year, whether you come over to race will be entirely up to you. If you come, good luck. If you decide not to, find another track to trash on here. It gets very old.

I not trying to cause a big issue, and I'm sure somewhere it was posted before this weekend, it just amazes me that a bigger, or "special" show, with the biggest car count (40?), with a entry fee etc etc, can pay less the a normal Sunday night, no entry show with 24 cars in the pits. I've seen a lot of times it pay more to win, and standard purse for the rest of the field, but less just seems shady to me. It is what it is, on to the next one..

Shu, the full payout was advertised. If you didn't take time to check it out you've got no one to blame.
