YEAH, i'M FROM THE AREA. BELTERRA IS YOUR BEST BET, IF YOU CAN ET T TIMES. MIGHT WANT TO CALL AHEAD. BELTERRA IS ONLY 5 OR 6 MILES FROM TE KY SPEEDWAY. ABOUT 45 MINUTES FROM lAWRENCEBURG. INTERSTATE ALL THE WAY. BELTERRA ALSO HAS A REAR BUFFET, BREAKFAST OR LUNCH. MIGHT WANT TO CHECK T TIMES.

There is a place down the road from the track and its pretty laid back and a fairly decent course it is SUGAR BAY GOLF COURSE...call for T times. Some of the NASCAR drivers go there when they are in town testing and people leave them alone.

Belltera will cost you a arm and 2 legs, about $100 per round. Rising Star casino is about $50. Have fun, wish i had time to join ya.

Thanks for the input everyone...
What about Boone Links?
Think we'll check out Sugar Bay too. Belterra bit too steep

To me Boone links sucks....Try Sugar Bay...you won't be disappointed ...like Dave said Belterra is pricey but beautiful......Rising Star can be costly too...I believe you can carry in or buy beer at Sugar Bay....like I said, call for details.....its a nice place usually not real busy.
By the way ,where are you staying at the night before ?? I thought you were staying in the sparta area thats why I recommended Sugar Bay.

Only been golfing a few times in my life, but I really liked the course at Belterra. Its by the river which is nice, and as a novice I didn't find it too challenging (playing from the womens tees)...

Staying at a friends house who lives near Florence. Never been in the area before, so all the recommendations are appreciated! Does Sugar Bay have a website?
